Services

The Translational Shared Research Facility staff will provide the following services on a recharge basis:

• Mouse feeders (MEFs)
• Assistance with hESC culture and growth
• Cell banking
• Cryopreservation and cell storage
• Preparation of cells for karyotyping
• DNA and RNA preparation
• qRT-PCR including the design of primers and probes
• Embedding, sectioning, and staining (fixed, frozen specimens)
• Immunocytochemical assessments
• Flow cytometry and cell sorting
• Immunoselection
• Endotoxin and mycoplasma screening
• Serum and medium preparation and lot testing
• Special procedures as arranged

TSRF staff will also provide assistance with receipt of cell lines, training, and guidance in experimental setup. Individualized training can be arranged.
